Evony farming bot: gather resources around the clock without losing marches

How an Evony farming bot picks resource tiles, sends gathering marches, brings them home and sends them again, plus the settings that keep marches from being sent into danger.

An Evony farming bot keeps your gathering marches moving: it finds resource tiles of the type and level you want near your keep, sends a march with a gathering general, waits for the march to come home, and sends it out again. Done well, it means your food, lumber, stone and ore never stop coming in and your alts finally earn their keep. Done badly, it sends marches into tiles next to an enemy keep and you log in to a hospital full of wounded. This post covers both the mechanics and the settings that keep farming safe.

How gathering automation works

  1. Pick the resource. You tell the bot what to gather, in what order, and whether to follow what your keep is short of.
  2. Find a tile. The bot searches the map around your keep for tiles of the chosen type and level, reading the tile level and remaining amount from the screen.
  3. Send the march. It opens the tile, picks a gathering general and the troop count you set, and sends the march.
  4. Wait and repeat. It reads the march timer, does other tasks in the meantime, and when the march is home it unloads and goes again.

The bot does not need to know where tiles are in advance; it reads the map every time, so it adapts when tiles are taken or when you teleport.

Settings that matter

  • Tile level. Higher tiles hold more but take longer and sit further out. Most farms gather mid-level tiles close to home and let the big tiles go.
  • Troop count per march. Enough to carry the tile, not more. Over-sending ties up troops and makes the march a juicier target; the app's march rules cap this.
  • Which marches to use. Keep one or two march slots free for rallies and the rest for gathering, or set the bot to use everything on farm accounts.
  • Resource priority. Rotate, or follow the lowest stock. A keep that is always short of food should not be gathering ore.
  • Generals. Gathering generals with the right specialties cut the march time and raise the load. The bot picks from the ones you assign.

Keeping marches safe

Gathering is low risk until it is not. The habits that keep it low risk:

  1. Shield or stay small. Gathering marches outside a shield are the normal way to lose troops in Evony. A bubble on the main account and small, cheap troops on the farm accounts keeps the losses to what you can afford.
  2. Heal first. Set the bot to heal wounded troops before sending new marches, so a bad night does not become a bad week.
  3. Hours that look like a person. Nobody gathers for 24 hours without a break. A schedule with gaps looks normal and is easier on the emulator.
  4. Use the pre-send check. The march check confirms the march before it goes, so a tile that got taken between the search and the send does not get an empty march.

Farming with many accounts

Farming is where alts pay off, and where PCs run out of memory. Run one emulator instance per account, give each its own profile, and use emulator rotation if you have more accounts than instances: the bot runs a set number of emulators at a time and cycles through the whole list on a schedule, so a twenty-account farm fits on a PC that can run five. The Monitoring Package shows every device from your phone, with start and stop and uptime per instance, so a stuck march is a tap away instead of a walk to the PC.

What farming looks like after a week

Resources come in steadily, the alts are gathering while the main account joins rallies, and the daily loop (chests, gifts, tavern, Black Market, dragon feeding, daily materials) is done before you open the game. The time you used to spend tapping tiles goes into deciding what to build. If you are not set up yet, start with the emulator setup guide; if rallies are your next step, read about the rally bot.

Frequently asked questions

What does an Evony farming bot do?

It finds resource tiles of the type and level you choose near your keep, sends a gathering march with the general and troop count you set, waits for the march to come home, and sends it again, around the clock, across every account you run in its own emulator instance.

Will a farming bot get my troops killed?

Gathering marches outside a shield can be attacked whether a bot sent them or you did. Keep the main account bubbled, send small cheap troops from farm accounts, let the bot heal before sending new marches, and keep a schedule with breaks. The bot's pre-send check also stops marches to tiles that disappeared.

How many resources can a farm account gather per day?

It depends on tile levels, march count, generals and how far the tiles are. The point of the bot is not a single big haul; it is that the marches never stop, so the daily total is whatever your marches can carry times the number of trips, every day.

Can the bot gather and join rallies at the same time?

Yes, within your march slots. A common setup keeps one or two slots for rallies and the rest for gathering, so the main account joins the rallies it wants while the remaining marches gather.
